How to Choose a Disposable Vape: Every Line We Carry, Compared

Most disposable vape guides tell you to "find the right one for you" and stop there. This one uses real numbers. One thing that won't separate them: nicotine strength. Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL, and nothing we sell goes above it. So you can skip that part of the decision and focus on the rest.

Puff count is the headline number on every disposable, and it's the right place to start, because it decides how often you'll be buying a replacement. If you vape throughout the day, a high-capacity device saves you reorders. If you vape occasionally or like to change flavours often, a very high puff count just means living with the same flavour for a long time.

Treat the number as a comparison tool, not a promise. Manufacturers rate puffs using a short, standard draw. Longer draws, and higher power modes on devices that have them, use more e-liquid per puff, so real-world counts come in lower for heavier users on every device. The ratings are still useful for comparing one device against another, because every brand rates the same way.

Where a line lists its reservoir size, that's the more concrete number. Two devices with the same 20 mL reservoir, the Geek Bar Pulse X and Flavour Beast's Beast Mode Max 3 60K, are rated at 25,000 and 60,000 puffs. Same volume, very different ratings, which is exactly why puff count alone doesn't tell the whole story.

Dividing each device's puff rating by its price gives you a simple value figure. It's not perfect, since puff ratings are estimates, but it shows very clearly which lines give you the most for your money. Here's every disposable we carry, best value first:

The gap between the top and the bottom is large. The Orbito gives you roughly seven times the rated puffs per dollar of the Envi. That doesn't make the smaller devices bad buys, but it does mean you should pick them for a reason, such as size, a lower upfront price or a specific flavour, rather than by default.

Flavour range varies even more than value. Flavour Beast dominates here: the Beast Mode Max 3 60K has 60 flavours and the Alpha 80K has 56. After that come the STLTH x Geek Bar 80K with 24, the Drip'n 70K with 17, the Pulse 2 with 16 and the Pulse X with 12. The Drip'n Daily 100K, MR.FOG Aura 60K and Drip'n by Envi each have 10, and the Orbito has 8.

Notice the trade-off at the top of the value list. The two best-value devices have two of the shortest flavour lists. If you already know your flavour and it's on one of them, that's an easy win. If you like to browse, the Flavour Beast lines give you far more to choose from for a modest drop in value per dollar.
